Can't remember the latin name right now but along with oca (which I also grow) olluco is what's described as one of the 'lost crops' of the Incas. Lost is one of those relative terms. It's particularly hard to get tubers to start plants over here from so there is something of a trade between those who have and those who want.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Apio is celery, according the Uruguayan list I consulted! Interesting because the Apios is the latin name for that plant and is nothing like celery that I can see, but this is the first year I've had it. Perhaps there is a flavour.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;If you ever take pictures of veggies in markets, I'd love to see them and any other info. you might have about some of the weirder beans, corn and tubers you spot.
