I'm going to have to get a french keyboard, I can't be doing with chasing accents around the char map.
Anyway, that's all. There was a reason for the delay but we're not talking about it.
Returned in France after a few days back in the UK I'm overwhelmed by everything, from silly swallows in the kitchen to people arriving unexpectedly. I'd better investigate.

Took me ages to get used to the AZERTY lay out - you might be better off getting a Spanish keyboard, which loses some brackets and gains some helpful buttons for making accents.
... but otherwise is the same layout as the UK
The trouble with a spanish keyboard is that it uses the punctuation keys for silly letters with tildas over them - I know this because I used to install windows in spanish as part of my job and learnt the spanish keyboard the hard way. The punctuation is elsewhere but for a touch typist this is just as hard as the AZERTY probably. Maybe I'll just not bother with the accents after all.
